What happens to what you send us
We collect the message you write and your email address — required if you are asking for access, optional otherwise — to read and answer you, and, if a founder approves your request, to put your address on our sign-in list, email you to say so, and email you a sign-in link whenever you ask to sign in, because a link we email you is how signing in works here — there is no password. Nothing else. Your message reaches the founders through a private Telegram channel and is kept in our own private records.
We delete your message, and the copy of your address kept with it, from our own records 60 days after we last handle it. The copy that reached the founders on Telegram stays in that private chat until they delete it. An approved address stays on the sign-in list until you or we remove it — that is what lets you sign in. Ask us and we will take it off.
We do not sell or share your information, and that approval message and those sign-in links are the only emails we send you — we will not add you to a marketing list. Without an email address we can read a question or a problem report but cannot reply to it.
To ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, send that request through this same form and we will respond within 30 days.
Questions or complaints about how we handle personal information can go to the Privacy Officer through this form; if you are not satisfied, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
